The european conference on silicone elastomer technology and innovation – along the entire value chain.
SELASTEC is a new biennial conference format dedicated to technology and innovation in silicones. Experts from across the value chain share material innovations, advances in machinery, equipment and services. Processors and suppliers discuss new applications and applied technologies.
The world of silicone elastomers is broad, and so is the scope of the conference. SELASTEC offers fresh insights into LSR and HCR materials and current trends in transportation, medical, consumer goods and high voltage insulation. Professional networks are hard to build in video calls. SELASTEC brings the industry together face to face – with the people who actually shape the field.
Europe sets the standard in silicone processing technology. Munich is a well-connected hub: visitors from Asia and the Americas can easily combine their stay with customer and supplier visits in the region.
Four topics, two days. Where processors, suppliers and experts connect.
Processing & Manufacturing
From LSR and HCR to tooling, automation and scale-up: how silicone elastomers are shaped today, where the limits sit, and what makes the difference between a pilot line and reliable serial production. Topics range from injection molding and curing behaviour to digitalisation on the shop floor.
Materials & Innovation
New formulations, additives and compounds. What's coming out of R&D labs, what's already on the market, and where material development meets real production constraints.
Applications across Industries
Silicone elastomers reach into transportation, consumer goods, high voltage insulation and many other fields. SELASTEC brings application cases from across the value chain, with a focus on what processors and suppliers can actually take home.
Trends & Outlook
Where is the industry heading? Sessions on regulatory developments, sustainability questions and the technologies that will shape the next decade.
Silicone 3D Printing and Series Integration
From prototype to functional small series: DLP, jetting and direct LSR extrusion processes. How additively manufactured silicone parts achieve certification in regulated industries — and where industrial scaling really stands.
Sensory, Conductive and Shape-Memory Elastomers
Dielectric elastomer actuators, piezoresistive silicones and self-healing networks. The interface between soft materials and electronics — from soft robotics to wearable sensors in medical and industrial use.

Call for Papers — submit your abstract.
We invite abstracts for technical presentations that connect research and industrial practice. We are looking for concrete work: processing and tooling, new materials and formulations, applications in real products, and the developments shaping the field. Both proven results and early-stage work are welcome.
The conference language is English. Abstracts should be no longer than 300 words and are submitted through our online tool (link to follow). The Call for Papers opens on 11 January 2027.
Shape the next decade of silicone technology with us.
